Mary A. Johnson and Reed N. Crandall marrie \d on January 14, 1858 in Dearborn County, Indiana.

Reed Crandall, a private in C., 7th Indiana Volunteers died January 21, 1862, serving in the Western Division, Army of the Potomac.

In 1870 Johnson County, Nebraska, Mary A. Crandall is 30, keeping house, born in Indiana. Cisie E. is 10, born in Nebraska, and Arden R. 8 in Indiana.

In 1880 Johnson County, Mary 37 is now married to W. Hargrave 34, farming. They have William 7 and Law 3 and Mary six months. Mary's children Adelia Crandall is 20, Arden is 17.

In 1900 Sherman County, Kansas, Reed is a laborer, living with Mary and George Hargraves.

In 1910 Johnson County, Nebraska, A. R. Crandall is 48, a plasterer, married to Caora 24 born in Kanss. They have Etta May 5, George 4, and Arden 2, all three born in Kansas.

Cora died before 1920, perhaps the Cora Lida Crandall 1870-1918 buried in Mitchell County, Kansas # 42389536. "Cemetery records state that she died at the Poor Farm in Mitchell County, Kansas"

Mary is buried in Goodland, Kansas # 87806896.
"Mrs. Mary A. Hargraves, wife of William Hargraves, died Sunday, August 25, 1901, shortly before noon. Death was caused by dropsy after a lingering illness and the end was not unexpected. She was 63 years of age, and is survived by her husband, three sons and two daughters.
Mrs. Hargraves was born in Indiana December 19, 1838. Her maiden name was Mary A. Johnson. She was twice married. Of the first marriage she leaves a son, A. R. Crandall, of Goodland, and a daughter, Mrs. Henry Whistler, of Tecumseh, Neb., formerly of this county. She was married to William Hargraves on April 14, 1871, of which marriage she had four children, William, Jr. and Lewis Hargraves, of Goodland, and Mrs. C. D. Krow, of Hubbel, Neb.; one son being dead. All were present at the funeral except Mrs. Krow who was prevented coming on account of sickness in her family. "

In 1885 Shawnee County, Kansas, A. R. Crandall is 24, N. M. 22 female. They're living with W. R. Crandall 31 farming and E. A. Crandall, 32 have E. M. 6. B.M. 4, I. S. 2, and a newborn son.
A.R. Crandall, 42, born in Indiana, to Reed and Mary Crandall, married Amy Britton, on Feb 22, 1904 in Fairbury, Nebraska.
Amy 42, was born in Nebraska to James and Ruth Atkison.
She was in Nuckolls County, Nebraska, in 1900, born July 1861 in Ohio, married 17 years, has had two chlidren both living, but no spouse or children listed..

Amy D. Atkisson and Samuel Britton had John William Britton on Feb 8, 1885 at Guide Rock, Nebraska, who died August 1, 1958.
He's buried in Waterloo # 55608096.


Amy Delilah Britton is a maid in 1930 Waterloo, Iowa, widowed.

Amy Delilah Atkison Britton 1861-1952 is buried in Cedar Falls, Iowa # 79385262. "Daughter of James and Ruth (Darby) Atkison."

Arden and Amy probably didn't live together long, because A.R. Crandall is in Topeka, Kansas in 1905, age 42

In 1920 Yuma County, Arden R. is 58, widowed, living with sister Elizabeth B. Whisler and her husbene Henry L. Whisler, both 60.

A. R. Crandall, a county charge, died last Friday, January 13th, 1922 and was buried Saturday. Little is known of his past life, as no relatives had visited him since he became dependent upon the county for his subsistence. He was afflicted with cancer and suffered greatly during the past year. It will be recalled that he attempted to end his misery about a year ago.

The Yuma County Commissioners paid Mrs. M. E. Staininger $88.33 for board and care of Mr. Crandall on January 26.

E.E. Richards was paid $35 for the burial of Mr. Crandall on March 2, 1922.

In 1930 she's in Ponca City, Oklahoma, 25, married to Glmer B. McGinnis 34, a George I. is 7, Mary Ellen 6, and James E. 4.

They were in Alamosa County, Colorado in 1935, and in Delta County, COlorado in 1940, Elmer 45, Mae 36, George 17 and James McGinnis 14. Charlotte Crandall is 28,

CHARLOTTE

Charlotte is in Clay County, Kansas in 1920, 8, with Roy and Bertha Osenbaugh.

Per one tree, she died Dec 2, 1940 in Parsons, Kanss, buried in the state hospital cemetery $ 65549373.

GEORGE

George, 13, is living with grandparents Andrew 62 and Sarah A. 52 Rogers in 1920 Phillips County, Kansas.

ARDEN

Arden R. Crandall, 22, married Mildred M. Montgomery on Dec 17, 1927 in La Junta, Colorado.

Arden R. Crandall 1908-1951 is buried in Glendale, California # 16705701.
